This coming summer, Andrew will be attempting Broad Peak, the 12^th highest mountain in the world. Located on the border of Pakistan and China, with an elevation of 8,047 meters (26,414 ft) Broad Peak is located about 8 kilometres from K2. Broad Peak was originally named K3, but on later contemplation by WM Conway the mountain`s wide berth inspired ``Broad Peak``.
